Tuesday, February 13, 1990 - With K at home at dinner (meat loaf). Deep, dark, dense ruby-purple. Stupendous nose of cassis, chcolate, and cherries. Rich, concentrated and complex. On the palate, it is big, brawny and tannic, yet still amazingly drinkable for an '86 Bordeaux at this age. Chocolatey, chewy and packed with fruit. 5-14-16-9: 94/100.
