89 Points

Friday, March 24, 2023 - The initial impression of the nose was lively, jumping out of the glass. The nose showed petrol, tar, and leather. The palate was medium dry, tannins and acidity that could go another decade. Tart cherry, baking cocoa, and a mild green pepper flavor profile. This wine feels like it was “all there” at one point but didn’t hold up in total balance. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t chase it down again.
