Bottle was in great shape despite the age - decanted for ~60 minutes beforehand, but opened up over the next few hours (strange for a Pauillac.) The notes went on for 30+ seconds after every sip. More fruit forward than I would have anticipated (plumb and cherry?) Tannins present but very mellow and pleasant.
