Thursday, January 14, 2016 - Intense, concentrated and rich. With 2 hours of air, more balance takes hold -- though it's certaimly a New World model. Quite extracted. Bold tannins, herbs, green notes, decent acidity. Moderate Rhone flavor characteristics, taste bud-pummeling intensity, long finish. Would like to see what 5 more years would do to calm its bones.
