Thursday, February 27, 2014 - With ripe pear and tropical fruit, there is no mistaking this light golden wine with Burgundy. That said, there is also a very nice mineral component on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, crisp and with seamless alcohol (listed as 13.5%), it maintains its freshness throughout the middle and the oak is complimentary rather than overbearing. Concluding with medium length, this is a Chardonnay which performs well-above its modest price. Drink now-2016.
