Tuesday, June 9, 2015 - BYO Barolo Dinner (Campagna at the Bedford Post Inn): From magnum. Flat-out amazing. Had this before and after dinner. Super fresh, crisp and pure at the start with some saline, seashell notes. This got better and better with time and my last sip was the best about 5 hours after opening. Tremendous complexity, depth and intensity with everything in perfect balance. I loved this wine when I had it from 750ml last year but this was a significant step-up with much more freshness and intensity. Absolutely stunning wine in a perfect spot of maturity.
