Wednesday, October 1, 2014 - From an well-stored bottle with a very high fill. Surprisingly fresh tasting with mature soft tannins and a Rhone-like finish (usual hints of cherry, etc). Silkier mouthfeel and more balanced than most vintages of Beaucastel that I've had. Only a slightly shorter finish than I'd like holds it back from a higher score (and a more intense experience).
