Friday, May 15, 2015 - Ployez-Jacquemart and Paul Bara Visits (Ludes & Bouzy, Champagne, France): Nose: There is a real toastiness to the nose along with white fruits, brioche, red apples, berries, and some pear tones. There is excellent depth along with a youthful verve.

Taste: Medium/Full bodied with medium/high acidity. There is a noticeable tartness to the acidity along with white fruits, brioche, red apples, pears, and some toasty notes.

Overall: This is a poised and elegant young champagne. The Pinot noir shows through and it makes for a really enjoyable bubbly.
