Saturday, November 29, 2014 - PnP. Violet red. Nose features pepper, iron, and earth with cherries/blackberry kind of lurking underneath. Palate has medium weight fruit, light tannins and a good dose of acidity. Dark somewhat musty flavors. Nice balance; feels refreshing without the usual cues of bright fruits. Not particularly complex, penetrating or lengthy, but very nice, interesting and good with food.
