Saturday, August 5, 2017 - This was a bit cold when I pulled it out of the cellar so I poured a glass and took the dog for a walk. 45 mins wasn’t nearly enough though, as it took about three hours to open up.

Flavours of bay leaf, plum and tobacco are there but not obvious, it’s all about structure and fine drying tannin. Reckon I’d take a look at the next one in 2019 at the earliest. Excellent value for money.
