Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - Beating the heat with Whites and Bubbles (Mott St., Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is open and giving with loads of springtime florals, crushed rocks, lemon peels, white fruits, pears, citrus notes, and some saline. There is excellent depth with a lovely feminine side to it.
Taste: Medium/light bodied with high acidity. The acidity is certainly noticeable, but it isn't overbearing. The feel has more of a feminine side to it with crushed rocks, lemon peels, white fruits, floral notes, and some saline.
Overall: This was showing beautifully. There is a freshness and understatement that really drives the wine.
