Thursday, September 20, 2018 - Alcohol and pepper on the nose leads into spice, blue fruits, and some oak. Stained tears correctly predict a full bodied palate that is smooth with interesting layers of blue and black fruit, a decent amount of acid and grip, and a surprising subtle orange flavor on the finish (as mentioned in another post.) If you like big reds from Barossa, this delivers the goods at a reasonable price.
