Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - Still a youngster, this wine smelled of deep dark raspberry, blackberry, and currant, and the taste was round and full bodied, with austere tannin structure, and a large mouthfeel which was highlighted by cassis, vanilla oak, coffee and mocha nuances, and some slight dusty minerality. Finish was long. Might wait a year or two before the next one.
