90 Points

Thursday, December 22, 2022 - Light ruby color with some orange around the rim. The nose was packed with red fruit, cherry and raspberry, and a touch of aged funk that blew off quickly. This was light-bodied and silky on the palate with higher acidity to provide lift. Overall, this was a lovely, aged pinot with solid fruit and zippy acidity. One of the best $25 wines out there, especially for a 10 year old pinot. Well done, Ed Kurtzman.
