Wednesday, April 30, 2014 - Popped and poured with penne & marinara sauce. Aroma is kind of a hybrid of red and black cherry. A slight hint of some vanilla/cola on the nose, but not much. Taste is pretty much pure cherry, with a good deal of acidity. I would think this could use a little more time to be ideal like next year. Still pretty enjoyable, but the acidity was a bit much
