Wednesday, June 29, 2011 - Cold War Nuclear Escalation Wine Club Dinner (Hong Kong Wine Vaults, Aberdeen, Hong Kong): Bright golden yellow pee colour. Nose is fresh, very light honeycomb, honey, slate-driven minerality, lemon zest.......several dimensions and which are very, very well integrated. Palate is beautifully integrated, balanced and harmonious rounded honey, honeysuckle, roasted hazelnut, citric acidity, smoky.....heady...lovely. You don't need to write much about this even over several hours of coming back to it over a long dinner.....straight down the middle elegant excellent Grand Cru White Burgundy but which will definitely improve with more age.....thanks Richard.
