Monday, August 13, 2007 - Gorgeous wine from the master of Puligny. Pale and very fresh but no longer young. Not the slightest hint of oxidation. Lovely middleweight BBM where the finesse and complexity are the key ingredients, not power or size. Completely avoids the excess acidity that numerous '96s display; yellow fruits but no lemon. Delicious and ready now.
