Thursday, December 27, 2012 - Dark ruby red color. On the nose, this wine is straightforward with plums and dark cherry but not much else. The palate is fairly boring with plums and cherry, though it lacked excitement. The mid-palate is a little thin for this light-bodied wine. The acidity is balanced and the tannins do not intrude on the moderate finish. Overall, this was not a wine I would buy again because it could have been from anywhere and didn't provide any excitement or character.
