Saturday, November 23, 2013 - Older Reds and a Younger White: It attacks with acidity, then pale honey, lanolin, a squeeze of lemon and peary, applely fruit fills in behind, both lean and rich at the same time. Not a wine for the acid-averse, but as a fan of tartness, I enjoyed it quite a bit. With more air, the fruit continued to expand, buffering the acidity.
