2012 Siduri Pinot Noir Sonoma County

90 Points

Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - Easy drinking, but quite flavorful. Great QPR for pinot.
Siduri produces a higher acid, more structured version of Cali pinot. However, as their entry bottling, this was not very complex. As my wife said -- I can drink this all night and just enjoy it. And for less than $20 bottle...
So 89 points for the wine and +1 for the price. The high acidity makes this a great food wine, especially with salmon.
I enjoyed this far more than an aged higher-level bottling (2006 vintage), so my very small sample size conclusion is to drink Siduri young. No later than end of 2017 for this bottling.
