Monday, April 13, 2020 - Purchased at the winery in June 2014 after lunch at the cafe and to be used for mixing cocktails at some future point. It was more interesting back then, possessing crispness and large bubble effervescence.

Consuming tonight as part of a cellar purge with no expectations. Not a wine I would cellar, but it is what it is. Interesting to see how it has evolved. Color is medium yellow, the bead is very tiny - but timid. For me, the dominate flavor was round apple - similar to a sparkling apple cider, but not as sweet. This wine is not produced for aging and can't compete against most CA sparkling wines, but that is ok as long as you understand that. I won't rate the wine tonight as that would not fair when the wine is meant for immediate consumption or mixing -- not cellaring. Moral of the story, drink very young.
