Sunday, March 13, 2016 - Powerful raspberry and cherry nose. First day this was surprisingly closed. High toned red fruit, raspberry dominant. There was a persistent sour note, almost medicinal but prickly, that I found unpleasant. My wine is dark and somewhat cloudy, not transparent as others noted. Acidity is medium+. Day two much more supple and approachable. Sour note has faded but slightly prickly note persists. Good, but I preferred the 2012 Littorai Sonoma Coast.
