Sunday, March 12, 2017 - This was quite nice, drinking well and with enough structure to go at least another decade. Decanted about 2 hours prior to serving. Good intensity, concentration, framework, acidity. Very good mouth presence. Red cherry, red currant, earth, tobacco, bay leaf, slight bell pepper on the finish. Comes off as Cab Franc heavy, ripe but not overdone. Great with steak. $27 retail (US) is very fair for this quality.
