Saturday, June 10, 2006 - California opulence with the complexity of northern Rhone. Deep purple and crimson with a nose of unmistakable honeydew. Black current and blackberry up front with strong but silky tannin (decanted for 6 hours), bacon mouthfeel, and a looooong finish. The best syrah I have ever tasted.
