Saturday, October 10, 2015 - 4 hour decant.
I spotted this a while ago in a clearout section of a Lisbon Garrafeira for under 10 euros, so I took the risk - these Colares things seem to be hit and miss and, in my experience, mostly miss - but not this one - not much in the nose - clear but not particularly dark purple - the first sip is something of an assault - a lot of tannin on top of the blackberries and blackcurrants, but the balance is there, backed by enough acids to make it a very clean taste - decent finish - score!
