Tuesday, August 12, 2014 - Wow, this is very nice. Agree with "isaacjamesbaker". Citrus is dominant on the nose but restrained, great balance in the body, just enough acid, great minerality with slight salinity, crushed sea shells and limestone. (Will wait a couple years for the next one.)

There are no diesel-ish developments of the type that can come with cellaring but the bottle we opened with lunch (holiday weekend!) was fully open and ready, not the least bit tight or in need of more cushion. Btw, where is this Poetic Monger? Mine (a case, from which this was the first bottle) came from Garagiste. I'm in Bellingham.

11/30/2014 3:30:00 PM - Oh, the waxing Poetic Wine Monger from Seattle is your source, one and the same. (Given the cellartracker "Value" on the wine it seems like pretty much every cellartracker member with this wine in their cellar got it from the same source.)

Nearly all other large purchases over he last 11 years have been quite the contrary. In fact, this was my last purchase.
