Sunday, June 10, 2018 - Dare I say this wine has improved since the last bottle? This was our 4th bottle over as many years, and it seems to keep improving. Very balance, smooth and delicious. Opens up after about 90 minutes to plums, dark cherries, tobacco, leather and dust. Pyramid-heavy blend (for those of you Hawk-aholics out there), so it has that deep, dark, intense fruit powering this vintage. Just a great expression of Cabernet. Can't wait to try it again next year. Oh, and eat something with this wine. Doesn't matter what. Just open this up, fill your plate and enjoy.
