Saturday, August 29, 2015 - Amazing Burgundy like nose. Complex, Iron, black and red cherry, pepper, cumin, pine, and hint of menthol. Medium intensity. Not as unripe and green as other Sancerre rouge. On taste the cherry flavours come through with nice acid balance. A long fresh bitter melon rind finish that makes the wine very interesting. It has a nice spine on which the fruit flavours hang. Very nice pinot from Sancerre.
