Friday, February 14, 2014 - Pop and pour at Bistro Jeanty. Consumed over lunch and later in the evening. This wine has shifted between several different profiles. At first very compact and tight but with umami flavors on the nose and palate. Soy sauce, mushroom, raspberry compote. After 6+ hours of air it is open and radiant with sweet sappy baked red fruits. This is built for a long life and pleasure over many years.
