Saturday, September 27, 2014 - It was everything and more that I expected. 3 hour decant then brought to Hatfields restaurant for my birthday.

Dark & inky with legs that melted down the glass. On the nose, you definitely got a burst of alcohol at first, dark berries, cherries and cassis. Taste of dark berries, cola, a hint of burnt wood and dark chocolate on the finish. Slightly tannic but a smooth finish that lasted a good 45 seconds. This bottle is clearly not at its sweet spot yet, but a treat nonetheless. I think I will wait several more years before opening the next bottle
