Saturday, May 27, 2017 - Despite the broken cork, the wine was in very good condition. Brown color, slightly brick rim. Everything you can expect in a 44 year old Rioja: dried fruit, underbrush, old wooden, cigar box and subtle acidity. It held very well the 30 min that it lasted on the table and second glass was even better. A lucky bottle and a great drink.
