Saturday, February 24, 2007 - Bright, pale gold. Ripe but elegant nose with ripe apple, citrus and seamless creamy oak. Whiff of pineapple. Similar flavour profile on palate which is rich but also elegant and quite delicate with lovely weight and texture, fresh balancing acidity and capped off with a lingering, persistent finish. Lovely powerful yet graceful Corton, still quite youthful, should improve over 2-5 years.
