Sunday, January 28, 2024 - Really cool to be drinking something thats over 40 years old. Having a relatively young cellar, it's always a treat finding stuff that already has significant age on it. Imported directly from the Château. The color on this is a deep amber, very seductive. Then nose had a touch of Cork smell at first which worried me but it blew off very quickly. What was left was rich peaches and apricots, honey, and a nutty smell. On the palate: candied peaches, some hay, almonds, honey, some pineapple and a very long finish. This was delicious!
