90 Points

Monday, November 11, 2019 - The 2012 Bachelet Monnot Batard Montrachet is modern in style, creamy with airy minerals (can easily be mistaken as a Meursault characteristics). They have been ageing their wines in 350L barrels (just like PYCM) since 2012. Ripe and juicy stone fruits with creamy lactic texture and toasty minerals. Higher in alcohol portraying the 2012 heat (which I am not a huge fan of). Nonetheless, a superb winemaking and style of wine that I adore. (90/100)
