Sunday, June 1, 2014 - PNP. Cork perfect. Color garnet. Nose mostly secondary w cedar and leather. Swishing shows persistent structure and secondary flavors. Sipping shows plums and dark fruits with totally smooth flavors and profile. Med finish. I was not expecting much from this, but I was amazed by this. Too bad I only have one. I was worried that this might be in decline or worse but it is delightful. It also has significant life ahead. I can't imagine that the Cain 5 is any better.
