Sunday, January 31, 2016 - Terrific for the vintage, a classic display of great Napa Cabernet Sauv. Amazing on the nose, the aromas of cassis, black fruits, vanilla and light smoke carry to the palate in a rich, but well-balanced display of a textbook quality Napa bottle. Dark in the glass, but not overpowering on the palate, the finish is long and tasty, supported by sweet, silky tannins as this wine enters a prime drinking window.
