Tuesday, November 18, 2014 - Decanted about half an hour in advance. A deep colour; ripe, rich, blackcurrant fruit, quite intense and with good length. Initially, it did not show much classic claret character, but it did eventually develop typical cedary overtones. It could perhaps have done with earlier decanting. Approachable now, but with a long life ahead.
