Saturday, October 15, 2016 - This is another great bottle of this delicious wine. Deep crimson on opening the nose initial seems a bit warm with plum and touches of fig but with time in the decanter it develops classic cassis, graphite, cedar characters with layers of rich black fruits. The palate is rich yet finely balanced with a great fine finish and grip. A beautifully proportioned wine that remains a great success in 2003.
