Wednesday, August 2, 2017 - another great bottle. An atypical LB with dense black-leaning fruit. But also smoke, cedar, long finish. The fruit is perhaps blacker and more upfront that usual with LB, less tannic bite, but this 2003 is in no way overdone, soft or hot. It seems in the early stages of drinkability and I suspect wil improve from here still. 94+pts. A must buy BDX for any Napa lover ! Will leave my next bottle for a couple of years.
