Wednesday, April 17, 2019 - The 2003 Leoville Barton is a terrific wine with a deep crimson colour with touches of red on the edges and a big nose of blackcurrant, dark plums, touches of dark chocolate coated fig, charcoal and cedar. The palate reflects the nose beautifully yet has poise and length with a lovely persistent finish. zits drinking beautifully now and there is probably little to be gained with long term cellaring.
