Friday, April 24, 2020 - Definitely a Barton, though surprisingly precocious at only 17 years of age! Black fruit, licorice and hints of iodine on the nose. The palate is concentrated with dark cherries and cassis, complemented by supple tannins. Well balanced and not flabby like some 03s. Really in a nice spot right now.
