Blackberries, saline, black cherries, herbs, tart cherries, and earth on the palate. Juicy acidity, nice firmness, long-ish finish. I was a bit skeptical because a salesperson at Total Wine suggested that it tasted like a wine twice the price. Well, they were pretty correct. It might lack the density of some more expensive syrahs, but it's pretty impressive for the price.
