Thursday, December 24, 2009 - Dark garnet, somewhat translucent in the glass. Earth and dusty pepper on the nose overlaying cherry/dark currant fruit and cedar. Medium-full bodied. Showing a little green and austere for my preferences, but this outperformed a 1999 Pride Cab we tasted alongside it. Was pretty much unchanged the next day. Fine, but not exceptional.
