Sunday, November 11, 2018 - Medium-maize color. Rich and buttery nose to start, accented by minerality before more warming oak aromas kick back in. On the palate, some restrained salty and stony flavors, with cinnamon and a bit of earthiness. This finishes with ample acidity, which again serves to balance the oaky richness. A bit less austere than I typically like my Chenin Blanc, I'd prefer this under $20 as opposed to the $25+ it commands at my local.
