Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Light brick-ruby color. Lots of almond-nut and cocoa aromas on the nose, along with fig, cherry and spice. Round and silky on the palate, with the same fig/cherry fruit along with plenty of tea, mineral and spice. Polished tannin, finishing with juicy finishing notes. Pinot Noir-like in texture, integrated tannin and acid, nice balance- seems a little more toward than mature than I would have expected.
