Monday, August 18, 2014 - Very good, semi-dry pinot gris. Fruity nose with some minerality. Very slight botrytis when first opened, but dissipated quickly. Full of fruit - honey, pear, and cling pear juice (agreeing with previous reviews). Lots of sweetness on the palate, but enough acidity and some minerality to balance out nicely. Lingering finish, very good.
Paired with a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken (Original Recipe, dark meat) and sides for our wedding anniversary.
