Friday, August 22, 2014 - Decanted approximately 2 hours. Still super tight but did improve with air. Shows closed aromas of tart red cherry, cranberry, white pepper, and herbs (stems?) on the nose. Very tart acidity on the palate, with flavors of cherry pit and under ripe raspberry, orange oil, and grape stem. The finish is a touch bitter and disjointed right now but I suspect it's a function of youth. Will need time to come around but that acidity should keep it together for a long time.
