Tuesday, December 30, 2014 - Deep red with purple edges in the glass. Muted nose, minerals and red fruit, plums mostly and cherry cordial, with a whiff of alcohol. Soft, red cherries on the palate. Hints of oak, milk chocolate, and herbs. Not much tannin to speak of. Smooth. Nice way to wait for a plane in Newark with Monterey Jack cheese and crackers.

Although very pleasant in the moment, I'm not sure this has enough structure to last for long in the cellar. Quite charming now in its youth.
