Saturday, July 25, 2015 - Decanted for 90 minutes before first sip, found this to be a very good, modern expression of Bordeaux. Green peppers on the nose, evolving into ripe, red fruits. Not overly complex or layered, but fruit is well balanced, wrapped in soft tannins that worked well with our bavette main course. Two glasses were left over till the next day, which showed that the wine did not have the same depth or character. Well made, not overly oaked or extracted, but lacking the power and complexity for long cellaring. 2011 is drinking well now and would be surprised if it improved much with additional time.
