Saturday, May 6, 2017 - The wine is violet colored and legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It tastes like black currant (cassis), raspberry, vanilla, oak and chocolate. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture, finishes long and has medium acidity. There is not much nose to this vintage, which was disappointing. However the nose is not consistent with its taste - quite odd. Bought at Costco for around $40+ tax. Would opt for a better vintage for that price point.
